TJ Oanomochi, Jazz Singer

TJ Oanomochi, Jazz Singer, originally uploaded by SuperDave-in-SL.

This weeks show is now up! on www.slcn.tv/tonight-live-paisley-beebe

All my shows are exiting for one reason or another, and I do love to talk to people about their talents, but the 10 mins per interview for each of these fascinating guests just went past in a blur. AutumnFoxx my director was IM’ing me the entire time telling me I was over time, but I had 10 more questions to ask!!!! I think one day I will do a profile show a special with my most fascinating guests…so I can really find out more about each of them.

Starting off with Colleen Marjeta, Erie Isle Sim Owner was a really interesting and informative chat about how a really true role playing sim can work. It was really interesting to hear how its all structured and how they stick to the plot!

TJ who you see in the picture had to tolerate my absolutely dreadful pronunciation of her last name…

I know in SL you hear every sort of trumped up description of musicians in SL that make them all sound like they sing like Pavorotti or Tom Jones or who ever…but I like to think that after 20 years of singing and many years of training I can spot a true star in the making. Our TJ Oanomochi will be a star…and no not because she looks like a barbie doll…but because she has the voice of a Star and is a gorgeous tall black lady with a really good work ethic, and a simply extraordinary voice!. If you don’t trust me or believe me you make sure you go see her next gig on Tuesday, and watch her sing “Buddy Can You Spare a Dime” on this show! Her voice is like a cross between Ella Fizgerald and Natalie Cole but without the nasal bit that I don’t like about Natalie’s voice so much. She is only a young woman so I imagine that when she reaches her peak..(they say its 40 for woman singers). she is just going to be unbeatable. I know the music industry in this world is fickle and hard…but if anyone deserves to be heard its this girl! we got a small taste on T.L this week, take a listen you will not be disappointed …unless you like heavy metal and Brittany Spears…then maybe…

Winter Wahdani was really fascinating with her advice on taking pictures on Second Life and talking about what she learned walking down Route 8 in Second Life! why she didn’t want to do it at first and why she changed her mind. Her pictures are stunning!

So watch this weeks show its a show Im very proud of, and happy to say had the least technical glitches in quite a few weeks!!! thanks to the crew and SLCN.
