The amount of disabled and chronically I’ll users continues to rise on Second Life. The platform is being used for support Groups and people disenfranchised by distance and mobility, to find information support of just plain friendships. Its a perfect platform for people who are normally isolated by virtue of their disability. The stories coming out of Virtual Ability about the new lives some of these people are now able to lead in Second Life are both moving and real.Gentle Heron Cue 1 how did the concept for Virtual Ability come about

Gentle Heron one of the founders of Virtual Ability a Sim dedicated to providing support and training for those that wish to use Second Life, talks to Paisley this week about Accessiblity on Second Life, has it improved for disabeled users since Virtual Ability shared the Linden Prize this year? What still needs to change?

mud002Mudpuddle Cleanslate is a sort of funny name…we will find out why its significant to this musician and Creator in Second Life. Mud is not here tonight to talk Music but he will be talking about his Life time obsession with Van Gogh. Mud was one of the very first people to use 3D software in real life, he worked for 31 years for the Beebe…the BBC as a Photographer, Graphic Artist. He first recreated Van Gogh’s work way back then, but his art has found a new home on Second Life. Why recreate Van Gogh’s work? what has it taught him?

The Show is Filmed Live at Northpoint Studios This Sunday 25th Oct from 6pm slt, doors open at 5.30pm. If you haven’t been to a live taping before be prepared! the Audience is often just as entertaining as the guests!
