The Diva Phaylen Fairchild, Sasy Scarborough, And Strum Diesel!
What a great show! Paisley’s guests on the show today include What’s New SL Founder Sasy Scarborough, musician strum Diesel and comedienne Phaylen Fairchild.
Sasy talked theft in Second Life from the perspective of a Store Detective for Super Star Store Maitreya. Its amazing what she discovered…Strum Diesel had heaps of his Fans at the show, and talked Punk to Folk! a really really lovely musician great song! Then finally Phaylene Fairchild, gave us a small taste of her sell out show! on the 13th December, and talked WOW and releasing her newest episode of Divas! yes she said she would never release another! but here it is the start of a whole new series and its it hilarious! see it here!

Production Assistant/Personal Assistant Needed for Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe
Perfect World Productions who produce Tonight Live are looking for a production assistant to work closely with Paisley Beebe the producer and host of Tonight Live.
This job is a 6 week internship to start, and if successful the applicant will start on 4,000L per week. If the applicant progresses to a more senior level there is a percentage of advertising profits, and increases in salary according to dedication and reliability.
This job is for you if you are serious about Virtual Television, other production assistants have gone on from this position to produce their own television shows.
You do not need a background in Second Life Television to apply. But Blogging or journalistic skills are a must!
Requirements:
You need to be available most days of the week and at short notice sometimes, flexibility in your after-hours is best, and the ability to be contacted quickly if needed by email or IM.
You need good equipment, and internet the programs you will be asked to use and run need a good reliable set up.
You need to feel comfortable on voice and Skype.
You can work your own hours but the job can at times require a few hours a day to complete.
You must be able to commit to one production meeting a week on Wednesdays at 5.30 – 7.30
You must be able to commit to appearing at the recording of Tonight Live on Sundays from 4.30pm – 7.00pm slt
You need to have initiative, problem solving abilities, and the ability to find odd things at odd times in Second Life and on the web.
You need to have been in Second Life long enough to be very knowledgeable about community and currant affairs and events in Second Life.
You will be looking for stories to feature, following up guests and making sure they are comfortable and we are well prepared for their interviews, through researching and communication with them.
You need to have great communication skills, through all aspects of Web.2 applications including Skype,Twitter,RSS feeds Facebook and Blogging.
You need to be good with deadlines and following strict procedures.
You need great administration skills.
You need to be able to take enquirys from real life and second life professionals and handle them in a professional manner, including press enquiries.

You must have a background in sales. A proven track record in sales in Second Life. Magazine Advertising Sales or similer in SL a must.
25% commision on all ads sold, plus a small retainer. Trial of 6 weeks to start.
A Mature and enthusiastic attitude is a must, and an ability to work as part of a team. We are a fun company to work for but are very serious about our productions. We require a 6 week unpaid internship.

This Week On Tonight Live
This week Sunday December 6th on “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe” Paisley Talks to Sasy Scarborough, Sasy is a Fashion Blogger but her story is far more interesting that just that. Sasy has some pretty strong opinions on content theft from the point of view of being a store detective of sorts for one of Second Life’s highest profile Fashion Stores, Maitreya. After readying a heartfelt blog by Sasy about her reasons for giving up her role at Maitreya where she talked about the realities of tracking down her freinds stolen Content, and how pervasive the theft was becoming, and how ultimately it took such a toll on her personal and professional life she quit out of exhaustion and frutstration and never being able to get on top of it, Paisley decided that Sasy’s point of view was quite a different one from the norm. This week Sasy will talk about some of her experiences and some sides of the whole issue that you may not have known before…
In 2008, Strum Diesel entered the world of Second Life, upon recommendation from a friend. Within 3 months of participation at open mic’s and live shows on the virtual reality commerce game he has amassed a devoted following with fans hailing from California to Germany. Known as Sean Kagalis in real life Strum is a real life musician. Sean began playing guitar and writing songs at 13. A year later he landed his first gig at an old rundown Daytona Beach, Florida gas station turned biker-bar dubbed Charlie’s. After receiving the approval of a presumably tough audience, Sean began to realize that being a performing songwriter was his destiny.

Phaylen Fairchild of “Diva’s” fame, comedienne, script writer and television producer,
is about to launch her One Woman Show “Phaylen Live” on the 13th Dec 09. What started out as a one off stand up gig, has morphed into an event that will be filmed, and a night out that everyone is hoping to get a ticket for as seating is limited. Phaylen will be previewing some of her show on “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe”. So come along and see what the excitement is all about! Previews of the show are already being discussed with some people saying it will be the funniest show ever seen in Second Life.
