Ok So Total Head Trip!

I may never leave my virtual office again!

There are things that annoy me about the new viewer Beta 2 but wow this is not one of them.

Here I am in my home office in SL with Live n Kickin playing perfectly…..not jerky not broken up, but perfectly on my right monitor with Google Reader on the left. I have over 1000 blog posts I have to scroll thru to catch up on my reading, mostly cause Ive been working with the new viewer trying to work out how our audience members are going to find us, and hear us! but this was really fun..why?

Cause I can’t afford 2 monitors at home and squishing up windows has never been attractive. So here I am on my 22 inch screen at home with 2 sleek looking Mac monitors in my virtual home able to do exactly the same things as I could do if I had the monitors in my RL home!

I may never leave my Virtual home my office in SL all of a sudden got relevent! totally cool

what I don’t like about the viewer….no 1 the thing that will effect my TV shows is that people cannot find the music and or video button..there aint one!

We have video and music activated at different times in our studio according to what we are showing…and activating all means they will get both streams, and if not savy will have no understanding of turning one off. Picture buttons pleeeese L.L we still need them. We are way off with the Flash on a prim for  video presentations as part of our TV show yet…I know that next Sunday if people are on the new viewer poor old SuperDave will be innundated with how do I hear the show questions, and the answer will be….go back to the old viewer as its too DAMN hard to explain it! Drop down menu with ghosted streams for the entire sim? unless you select just for this parcel, if you know what the hell that means…nope…how do you pick the right one? nightmare.

I’m with Crap and Grace on the “where is the events tab” ? issue also, its hidden and can only be activated by those that know what they are looking for, …sure put Grace McDunnuh in search you willl find her on events…but if you want to just see whats on? where? why didn’t that make the right hand menu…Events so much a part of our lives. sigh…just hopes they change that. filtering events is hard, pages and pages of descriptions, not just names and places…expand would work better…but what do I know Im just a stupid Musician TV host, but just fix it
