World Renown Conductor Composer Eric Whitacre the Creator of the Viral You Tube hit The Virtual Choir, appeared on Second Life TV Talk Show “Tonight Live With Paisley Beebe” broadcast on the web live at Treet.tv and in Second Life, on Sunday 5th Dec. Paisley interviewed Eric for a marathon 45 mins! then handed the questions over to the online and in world audience. In an interview showing a side of Eric Whitacre, not really seen before. Eric talked about his 80′s bad Mullet hair day…roots, his musical influences, What he loves about Choirs, and his experiences with conducting them, including his thoughts on other conductors, and the perils of being in one of his choirs, where choristers have been known to faint…and vomit! Not just once but a few times!

Paisley caught Eric Whitacre in a jovial mood, where he showed, not only his usual unwavering enthusiasm for Choral Music, but all sorts of music, Science Fiction books, he also talked about his love of all things Apple Mac, and how technology has opened up so many options for musicians and composers. Eric also talked about his impressions of Second Life, and wanting to explore the uses of Second Life for lectures or talks or classes at a later date. And of course he talked about the Virtual Choir, and his hopes for the next virtual Choir, which is being built right now!  All this and a lot more in the Video below.
