No More Tonight Live With Paisley Beebe
Bit of sad news. Tonight Live With Paisley Beebe will no longer be in production. I’ve started a new business in real life called Digital Breezes, and need to dedicate all my working week to it, and the rest of the time to my family.
This isn’t going to be a long post re-living all the history of the show, the shows are all up on Treet.tv if you want to get nostalgic. I’m really looking forward to a new venture in real life, and exited about taking a new direction, but sad also that I’m not going to be spending as much time on the grid and working with the best bunch of TV people ever!
I would like to publicly thank all the people who have been involved in the show over the years, and there are quite a few of you to mention, including every single guest and musician and the wonderful audience who are always such a large part of the show.
I owe Treet.tv my greatest thanks for creating the show with me 4 years ago, and always providing such a professional environment to work with the best Machinima possible for virtual TV, I wish Wiz and Texas all the best and we are keeping in touch.
Big thanks go to Yxes Delacoix and AutumnFox Sutherland and Bliss Windlow for their show directing, you guys totally rock! and also for Bliss Windlow being my COO, and taking such a huge role in the business, Bliss, you have meant so much to me, you will never know how much. Stage Manager SuperDave Spearmann is my longest serving employee, and he has been such a wonderful reliable and dependable staff member I can’t recommend him enough. I’d also like to thank Angie Mornington and Delinda Dyrssen (in memory) for being my co-producers and taking such a large and important role in both their wonderful shows which are still getting viewers and lots of em, Fabulous Fashion and Live n Kickin. And finally to Tangle Giano for stepping into the recent role as Music Producer. Thank you also to all the volunteers that have worked for the show, and also to all the wonderful sponsors, especially Nicky Ree my clothes supplier for being my longest sponsor on the show. I wish all the other show producers for all the TV shows on Second Life all the best, keep the light burning and best of everything!
Best wishes to you all and I’ll see you on the grid!
love Paisley

I’ve been half expecting you to announce this ever since you started Digital Breezes, bought Women who dance with Frogs to an end and changed your Twitter name…it was inevitable!
Wishing you every success for the future..
Alex
Thanks for everything you did for the SL community, Paisley!
Wishing you all the best and success with Digital Breezes.
Sad news indeed. Like Alex I had a naging feeling that something was going to change.
Im honoured that I was asked by you, Paisley, to be on one of your last shows.
Best of luck in your future ventures in any world
Hugs
Best of luck on your new adventure!
Wishing you all the best. Or to paraphrase Douglas Adams, “So long and thanks for all the great interviews!”
Hope Digital Breezes proves to be everything you hope for it – and more besides.
Much <3 and great luck with the new gig! Be no stranger!
Howdy Paisley babe!
You were my FIRST exposure to live music in SL and it changed my perspective on that matter. Thanks for that. It was also great working with you on a couple of machinima films.
All that work, and the work you’ve been doing, will outlive the clownish activities of LL and I look forward to hanging out in some VR museum in the far flung future.
I’m also glad that you’ve jumped on the whale rather than hang out on the whaling ship.
Throw a shrimp on the barbie for me. xoxoxoxo
Paisley –
It was a great show, with super high production values. So sorry to see it go — but good luck in your new venture!

Dear Paisley,
Thank you for being a pioneer and someone who offered a great program on a regular basis, with substantial content, while being a real force in the entertainment community. You will be missed indeed. Congratulations and good luck on your new business, it certainly has a great name. I know that everything you do will be infused with your high standards of quality, determination and smarts.
Wishing you truly all the best,
-Pooky
Thank you for all the wonderful work you did in Second Life and elsewhere to expose people to the beautiful and the wonderful.
Sad to see your show end. Best wishes in your new business!
Paisley, Thanks for all the good times. Will be watching for you wherever the digital breezes blow you.
good luck in your new endeavor =)
I’m sorry to see such a great show come to an end, although I will look at the glass half full and just say virtual worlds were lucky to have you bringing the detailed news, performers and other talent and personalities, for as long as we were blessed with that.
My experience on Tonight Live was an eye-opener; I’m sure most viewers have no idea who professional you, Bliss, SuperDave and the whole team really are, and just how much work it is to put on one show, let alone so many.
All the best with Digital Breezes, and all you future endeavors!
This is truly sad; the time you’ve interviewed me has to be counted among the most interesting ones in Second Life. Not because of the interview by itself; but the actual preparation and logistics to put the show up, which was always incredibly professional. I had been interviewed for national TV here in Portugal for several times (even for different networks), and I have to say that none of them actually came close to the amount of preparation and professionalism that you did on the “Tonight Live”.
One of the things that I always had in mind after that interview was to show how Treet.TV operates “from the backstage” to some local journalists and TV producers. At the very very least, I’m fully confident that it could be used as a training solution for aspiring young professionals…
Thankyou for your comments, I’ve so enjoyed all the interviews and shows I’ve done and I’ve learned so much about people and the job of interviewing and producing. Right now Im not jumping into another similar job at all, I’d like too in a way, but at my stage of life thats no easy thing to do, especially where I live. I’m proud to have been part of the Second Life community and to have met so many inspirational people in my travels. I am feeling positive about Second Life’s and Open Sim’s future, and see a great future for both. I’m not sure where it will all lead no one does, but I’m pleased that Rodvik is leading the way. I think he has a good head on his shoulders and some great ideas. It won’t be as we knew it, it might not suit all of us. I hope it is better, and fairer, and is improved so that its easier to enjoy and create. And I will be popping in from time to time even if it is just to explore a new wonderful sim. At the beginning of any new business its all consuming just to get it up and running, and thats where I’m at, huge learning curve and a drive to try and make it work, so I can spend time with my young family and earn some money to contribute to the family groceries. Its pretty boring goal right now, but an important one for me. There’s no hard feelings, just a feeling that the time is right. And a feeling of peace. Bless you all for your thoughts they mean a lot to me, and give me courage to strike out on a new adventure
Hugs Paisley
There! You got through it and you never had to interview me!
: )
Your new web site and business looks great, good luck!
You’ve always been the heart of Treet TV and made it have interesting content and prove to be an arduous but rewarding endeavour. Let’s hope the management can find someone to fill your shoes.
Paisley – you were the pioneer for us all!
I remember when I started Meta Makeover, and you came and gave us some really inspirational training sessions that got us off the ground. That was totally invaluable in pulling our behind-the-scenes together.
Your show was always the height of professionalism, and you pulled off some great coups in your bookinga – making Tonight Live the most talked-about show for the longest time. I’m sure it will still be talked about and held up as a standard for a long time to come!
Good luck with the new venture – it sounds really exciting!
I only attended a handful of Tonight Live tapings but remember being stunned at the first one by the amount of imagination, organization and work it must have taken to conceive and execute the show. Congratulations to you and everyone on the staff for a run that any television production team would count as a major professional accomplishment.
All the best with Digital Breezes, you’ll be great.
Best wishes, and success with your new venture.
Thankyou all of you… Prokofy…coming from you thats a big compliment
Hows that motor bike going had a ride on it yet!
Sorry to see you go. Tonight Live was the first virtual TV show I knew about, and opened my eyes to what was possible in this wonderful world. Thank you for providing us with great entertainment and insightful topics. And good luck on your next venture!
Sad to see the show come to an end, but wish you all the best on your new business venture.
I just want to say the most sincere thank you for dedicating so much time and so much talent to doing your shows. Tonight Live is a remarkable achievement, and as it stands chronicles, episode by episode, the stories of Second Life people during one of the most critical times in Virtual Worlds development.
I know I am a fairly quiet person. While your team was busy as a hive of bees preparing for the show, I was sitting in our studio silently clicking buttons and arranging sequences to prepare. I’ll miss aligning cameras, adjusting audio, reviewing runsheets, and making sure your guests looked good on camera.
But more than anything than that, I will miss the moment when Texas would say over talkback each week, “Paisley, You’re Live in 3, 2, 1….” and the credits would roll and you would do your intro. Live television. Just like the Olympics. What a thrill.
I know you’ll do well with Digital Breezes, and look forward to following your successes for years to come.
Loved watching your SL shows.
Sad to see the show go & it will be missed
Wiz I’m going to miss all that too, thankyou for your sentiments. Exiting days huh! I hope one day I will be interviewing again..even if its a few vod casts on my new website, its such a wonderful thrill to be allowed to do that. No one realises how much of Wiz and Texas time and life has gone into Treet.tv and really when you look at how it started and what its become its really quite amazing. Neither of us really thought it would ever really get this far, it was just ok lets try this. See what happens. I know that all of us involved in Treet.tv have learned so much.
I enjoyed watching your show, and had a great time when a singer I worked with, Phoe Nix, appeared on your show back about 2008. I hope your new business is a success.
Paisley, I am sad to see you leave the show, but I wish you the best in your new endeavor. I knew the first moment I met you, when you were brand new to SL, that you were the real deal, that you would be a star in SL ,and you have been. Such talent, such professionalism. Thank you for enriching our lives.
Thanks Paisley. Your show also help expose the invasion of privacy and misuse of these shady so called “protection” services offered on Second-Life.
The spyware battle scams in Second-Life is still on-going, but hopefully people will be more aware of what they download/buy on Second-Life as well as better precautions to protecting their anonymous online.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
