Club Penguin has had house and land packages from the very start. A place that a noobie can retreat to, to get dressed by furniture and feel “at home” This new idea from Linden Lab to create a similar idea in Second Life has been met with mixed feelings with some loving the idea and others decrying it.

Jack Linden is coming on Tonight Live this Sunday to talk about the official release of Linden Homes and Land package for new premium users, that also comes with a bonus $1000L. Paisley will be asking questions about how it will all work and what Jack Lindens take is, on some peoples complaint that Linden Lab is now competing with residents for real estate.

Music sensation Skye Galaxy kept his real life persona very private when he first entered Second Life, he joined Second Life after being bed riden for a time. Not revealing who he was in real life soon became very difficult to disguise as he became more and more popular as a Singer Musician in our world. Skye Galaxy will be singing a new song on Paisley’s Show, come hear this new incredible musician and singer that everyone is talking about. Paisley will be also interviewing Skye about his plans for the future in 2010.

Notice that your grandma, or someone else’s grandma now has an email address or even a Facebook page? How does internet and computer use, now connect our ageing population with other new networks or even now their once far-away family? More and more older people are using the Net and these are people who grew up with the telephone being their only technological method of communication, unlike our newer generations. Katie Vizenor or Bathsheba Darkstone as she is known in Second Life is a Anthropology Doctoral Student at SUNY-Buffalo. Recently she presented a talk on Aged use of the internet  at Virtualbility. Bathsheba will be talking about about her presentation on Paisley’s show.
