Bliss Windlow and Paisley Beebe on Metanomics Community Forum Today!

And tomorrow, January 20, 2011 at 12pm SLT, if Paisley has power after her house fire and the rivers rise no higher, they’ll join us for the Metanomics Community Forum to share stories of the endless rain, and devastating floods in Queensland, Australia. They’ve each had enough adventure in the last few weeks to fill a lifetime, and they chronicled it with pictures and tales of the frightening effects of torrential rains beyond all imagining.

Eric Whitacre Conductor/Composer of the Virtual Choir on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe

Eric Whitacre Interview In-depth on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe.

On last weeks show Paisley announced that After 8 months of negotiation and planning, Eric Whitacre the creator of the Virtual Choir Video (see below) which has now amassed over 1.5 million (and growing) hits on YouTube, is to be interviewed IN PERSON & in Second Life, on “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe” on Sunday morning the 5th December at a special time of 8am slt due to the time zone in London. The Virtual Choir was brought to our attention by our Music Producer Delinda Dyrssen, and this show will of course be dedicated to her and her inspiration. Eric has been told of the significance of his appearance on Tonight Live, and about Delinda’s input, and passing.

American Eric Whitacre is a world renown award winning Choir Conductor and Composer and lecturer, he has quickly become one of the most popular and performed composers of his generation. To date, Whitacre’s published works have received thousands of performances and have sold in excess of one million copies worldwide. Over the past few years, his loyal fans and supporters have moved online, spreading Eric’s popularity to an ever-expanding worldwide audience.

Eric Whitacre, has never been in Second Life but is very exited to be coming into S.L to be interviewed on Paisley’s Show on the 5th of December from London where he is visiting for the judging of the “Royal Festival Hall CHOIR OF THE YEAR 2010″ Eric is also currently a “Visiting Fellow and Composer in Residence” at Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge, UK..

Fabulous Fashion and Live n Kickin to close

It is with great sadness that I’m announcing the closure of “Fabulous Fashion With Angie Mornington” and our Music Show “Live n Kickin”. As you know Angie Mornington was already on hiatus due to some RL issues she had to deal with.

The time has come, for me to focus on both my Second Life Talk Show “Tonight Live” and a new and exiting real life buisness I’m starting with my PWP COO Bliss Windlow, called Women Who Dance With Frogs . Running all three shows has been very demanding, and whilst each have had a great success, its time for me to hand it on, or close it up.

Staff Wanted for Perfect World Productions

Television Show Staff Needed

Perfect World Productions produces the three highest rated television shows in Second Life, “Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe”, “Fabulous Fashion with Angie Mornington” and “Live n Kickin” all broadcast on Treet TV.  We are currently looking for staff to work behind the scenes on F.F and T.L.

We are looking for applicants with proven experience in hosting events in Second Life to work on two of our TV shows, Work includes helping host our Live productions, booking guests, working with teams of Models, contacting designers and all manner of jobs that are needed to get the show on.

If you work for Perfect World Productions you will be working for the production company of the very Best TV shows in any virtual world. We are at the cutting edge of media and have been for over 3 solid years.

You will need

1. More than a years experience in Second Life
2. A strong understanding and experience of using Voice and the basics of Second Life viewer and platform
3. Experience with arranging Events and hosting them in Second Life.
4. A good understanding of settings and preferences in both the New and Old viewers in Second Live.
5. A good understanding of  Second Life foibles, lag, crashing etc…
You need to be a great people person, patience and a great sense of humor a must!
6. You need to be punctual, be well organised and reliable.
7. You need to understand YOUR OWN computer and feel comfortable using all sorts of communication programs. Skype, Google Chat, Second Life IM and Voice
8. You need to be passionate about Entertainment in Second Life.
9. Must love meeting people!
