This Weeks Tonight Live is UP!

Tonight Live filmed on Halloween 31st Oct, was a great show! Great Music, Great ideas, and Great interviews.

This week’s guests include Cinders Vale & Boot Janus from the American Cancer Society’s Makeover Magic program; FunkyFreddy Republic, a singer songwriter with a new album “ghosts of Another America”; and Dare Munro, a *real* vampire

The folks from Makeover Magic Cinders and Boot, told us about why they hold makeovers for Avatars who’s real life counterparts are in treatment for Cancer. And why the makeovers really help with recovery.

FunkyFreddy sang a really great song, (one of Paisley’s favourites) and then talked about his real life meeting with David Bowie, and other interesting chat about his real life and virtual music and engineering career.

Dare Munro, considers himself a Vampire in real life and in Second Life. He talked about how he felt about the total commercialism of Vampires in the media today, and how he viewed Vampire games and role playing, Bloodlines, and similar games. He had Paisley and the audience enthralled and at times totally creeped out with his observations, (wow and that laugh!!! totally freaky) but he had a great sense of humor about it also.

Tonight Live is UP!

Great conversation with this week’s guests Maria Korolov, journalist and writer for Hypergrid Business, she spoke with Paisley about the future for Open Sim, how they Hypergrid will change the future of virtual worlds, and many other aspects of a Web Like Virtual world; Senjata Witt, singer/songwriter, sang a beautiful song, and talked about her reluctance to perform in real life, now that she has found Second Life and its global fans; Eolande Elvehjem and Hibiscus Flossberg, the 2010 Jewellery Fair Coordinators, Showed us some great jewellery being shown at the Jewellery Fair and discussed the Charity associated with it, and Dusan Writer, CEO of Remedy Communications and prolific blogger about Second Life, talked about his concerns with Mesh in S.L the inability for L.L to communicate effectively with their community, and those rumours!

Tonight Live is UP!

Brielle Coronet, Forsythe Whitfield, Sally Soleil, Emcee Widget

Filmed in front of a live studio audience Paisley welcomes this week’s guests Brielle Coronet, a Medical Librarian & Researcher; Forsythe Whitfield, Canadian Blues Singer / Songwriter; Sally Soleil, resident spotlight guest and fashion designer; and Emcee Widget from this year’s Burn 2 art project

Brielle Coronet developed a Quiz in Second Life to see if people knew the signs of Stroke or Heart attack. Health Literacy is the health industry’s very important way of educating us the patient about our health, and with more and more people using google to diagnose their health issues, new engaging ways to educate are being sort, Gaming being one of them!

We also talked to incredible Bluesman Forsythe Whitfield. Where has Forsythe been? he has been driving a bus for over a year!, disillusioned with the music industry he quit! but now he is back, and not only back, but about to record a NEW Album. His story is one of struggle and enlightenment.

Our Resident Spotlight this week is Sally Soleil owner and designer for Feirce Designs, she has a novel way to celebrate Halloween this year with costumes and something about an ex boyfriend who has been “hanging” around….it certainly shocked me!

The Burn is ON! and it will be spectacular! EmCee Widget talks about Linden Lab pulling out of the event and what the “Burners” had to do to keep it going this year. Its going to be spectacular and its a great example of continuing a tradition and a dream despite having to downsize due to reduced funds.

Again we had a packed house! and lots of comments during the show on Live Chat and after the show.

Sunday 25th Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe

SEX, DEX, AND A LITTLE LONDON

We got some fabulous feedback after the show this week! The huge live viewership of this show, was one of our largest ever! 2nd only to the “Emeraldgate” show that we did in August. I guess having SEX DEXTER and LONDON in the title of the show may have had something to do with it..

Starting the show this week, we spoke to Brit Steve Rumsford about the rescue of a lovely little sim called “Little London” If you want to get some great ideas on how to make YOUR sim viable, you may get some great inspiration from this segment. Little London has developed from being on its knees, to being an incredibly popular and profitable sim. So much so I suggested Steve write a guide to “Making your Sim Pay for its Self and Build Community”

This weeks show also presented the WORLD premier of Dexter Morph Ihnen’s Music Video of his New Single “Do You Wanna” This music video is unique in that it features Dexter bringing his SL Avatar, into RL! The Second Life part of the video was mostly shot by Treet.tv for our Live Music Show Live n Kickin. This video is an extraordinary example of Dexter’s incredible showmanship and the possibilities that Second Life brings to real life Musicians in being able to film such a video with all the special effects that would normally cost more than the average independent musician could afford. Dexter paints for us in this interview a picture of  the struggles he has had to overcome in order for his dream to become a reality! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS VIDEO! there has never been anything to compare to it in Second Life or Real Life…As Molly Meldrum would say…”Do Yourself a FAVOUR!!”

Finally We get down and dirty with SEX in Second Life! After my undercover escapade into Zindra into Adult Sex land, I asked Stephanie Steamweaver from the Dirty Talk Voice Sex Lounge the NUMBER ONE Sex sim in Second Life to come…on to Tonight Live to talk to us about why SEX is soooo SuckSEXfull in Second Life. I have to say, trying to avoid giggling and the double entendres was incredibly …Hard…..we did giggle though and the double entendres were unavoidable…What makes a SEX Sim sooo popular? what sort of people use these Clubs? and what goes on there!? Do you really Wanna…know..This is also the first time I’ve had a woman or any person actually sitting on my studio purposely in their UNDERWEAR! Whilst we were filming Stephane had a huge crowd back in the DTSL club…watching the show on the telly…(I just don’t want to think about what people were doing during the interviews…….) I also do have to thank the viewers for the very kind Offers I also got after the show….to be given a personal tour of the Sex Club…um….

Tonight Live is UP!

Another great crowd! (We crashed the Sim! )and a great show! Guests included Chancellor of Caledon Oxbridge, Carl Metropolitan talking about the scrapped community gateway program;  singer / songwriter Tribbs Nirvana; and well known journalist and blogger Mitch Wagner for a perspective on Linden Labs new Fast Easy Fun.

The results of my escapade into “Noob land” come full circle on this show in a revealing interview with Carl Metropolitan. Who gives his take on the scrapping of the Community Gateway program that helped new users learn about Second Life without being harassed, and confused.

Tribbs Nirvana is a wonderfull Singer and Musician and she loves her hippy SL pad, she wants one in real life! she also talked about her V’logging and what it means to her and why and HOW she does it.

Mitch Wagner mentions in this interview that he  spoke with Philp Linden last week about all the recent Linden Lab announcements, (off the record) he gives us his insight into what Philp really thinks right now, and how Philip Linden is disappointed by the response to his SLCC Keynote amongst other things. Mitch also talks about why he is moving away from Second Life and what led to that. Mitch has a strong response to the Teen Grid closing and talks about that also. Enjoy the show!
